1976 BMW R90/6
Color is 2000-Current BMW Automobile Steel Gray Metallic. The chrome turn signal housings are original to 1974 /6's, 1975 & 1976 came stock with the black plastic housings. The chrome parts came off my R75/6 which was put together from a 1974 & 1976

This is what the R90/6 looked like when I bought it:

I thought I was getting a good deal on this R90/6, but it ended up needing a lot of little and some bigger things done to it. I planned on swapping out a set of body work that I had painted for my R75/6 and then selling the R75/6. A quick list of problems: rear snowflake wheel with dented rim (wasn't mentioned by the owner and the pictures he sent me conveniently did not show the rear wheel very well), broken switches, bad wiring, bad suspension to name a few things. I did not test ride it before buying, that is the first and last time I will do that. After getting the minor issues sorted out and going for a ride, the engine had no power. The right carb diaphram was torn. After fixing that, the bike still lacked the power it should have. The heads needed to be completely rebuit and new piston rings were installed at the same time. Now that the bike had power back, it was evident the clutch was nearing its wear limit. The seat that came on the bike is the reproduction from England that is imported by Eurotech Motorsports & Sargent. I was not that happy with it. In less than a year of regular riding, it has a couple tears in it and the rear hinge broke.
